Bridal and Special Occasion Makeup

Of course you want your big day to go as smoothly as possible.  So while all the other preparations are taking place for your special event, let us take care of your makeup, it will be one less thing for you to worry about.

We use cosmetics by Jane Iredale "The Skin Care Makeup" to create your look on the day.  This makeup is not just a refinement of normal makeup; it is a new technology.  So effective, it is recommended by plastic surgeons, dermatologists and skin professionals.  It is a makeup that is good for the skin.  There is minimum allery risk as there are no fragrance, synthetic dyes or preservatives.  It is of the highest quality and should you wish, are also available to buy from us so will enable you to retain a flawless finish throughout your day or recreate the look another time.

Trial run sessions should be held in daylight hours, as this is the closest lighting used by your photographer.  It is important you are happy and confident with your look, so a trial prior to your special date is extremely important.

Bridal/Special Occasion Makeup (incl trial)* £35.00

The service commences with a trial consultation, in advance of the big day to agree a look you feel comfortable and confident with.  An individual colour chart is produced to record the details of the makeup so it can be reproduced accurately on your special day.  A mini facial is included.   The trial makeup takes place at Emerald Dreams Health & Beauty.  You have the choice of your Special Day makeup also being completed at the salon or for an additional fee, we can come to your home, hotel or venue of your choice**.

Bridal Makeup Lesson* £30.00

For brides who wish to learn how to apply their own makeup on their wedding day or brides getting married abroad, a comprehensive makeup lesson is a great idea.  You will receive step-by-step instructions on how to apply your makeup.  You will also get a "shopping list" of products to take away.  Products are available to purchase with 10% off Jane Iredale products.

Makeup Lesson £40.00

Do you have lots of makeup products in your makeup bag that you don't know how to use with confidence?  Do you want the confidence and skills to get the right look for you?  Do you feel out of depth at makeup counters?  The makeup lesson is an opportunity to learn professional but practical everyday makeup application tips an techniques in the comfort of your own home.   You will be taught how to choose the best products that suit your skin tone and colouring.  You will learn how to cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin, makeup application for a natural daytime look and a more glamourous evening style.  During the session we will identify a minimal number of essential products for your makeup bag.   Products are available for purchase if required with 10% off Jane Iredale products.
