It’s 2am...You are lying in bed, awake, AGAIN! You toss and you turn, you turn the pillow over, you're too hot so you throw back the duvet then you're too cold, you just can't seem to get comfy, you’re in pain, you're worrying about tomorrow … you're exhausted and yet sleep seems like a million miles away! Insomnia is difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep for long enough to feel refreshed the next morning. This happens despite having enough opportunity to sleep.
The most common problem in young people with insomnia is difficulty falling asleep (sleep-onset insomnia). However, an insomniac may also experience:
Nearly everyone has problems sleeping at some point in their life and it is thought that a third of people in the UK have bouts of insomnia. Insomnia appears to be more common in women and more likely to occur with age.
So what can you do to help yourself get regular, refreshing sleep?
I am hosting two "Sleep Like A Baby" Event Days to be held on Thurs 24th June and Tues 29th June.
On each of these special event days, I will be offering 5 people the opportunity to change their lives for the better, during a 90 minute session with me. We will work together specifically on your individual type(s) of insomnia, releasing limiting beliefs and getting rid of old emotional baggage that wreaks havoc on your ability to sleep properly.
At the end of your 90 minute session you will be equipped to deal with all of your sleep problems and will leave with written information and recorded audios so restless nights will become a thing of the past! Each session can be done face to face at my home based salon or via the telephone (ideal if you're short on time or need to be somewhere else that day).
